There's no getting around it. We are creatures of habit and will continue in the same rut we're in until we consciously put in the work to change it. It's uncomfortable and scary, but you're not alone in your journey. Almost everyone will embark on such a quest at some point.

Most of this blog is about the journey to a slimmer me. Other topics may crop up from time to time. Maybe some of my experience and lessons learned will help you in your own journey/quest.

I was so intrigued with your idea here that I watched this vlog 3 times. I have been using the approach I was taught, which is to build a "new history" in the area of weight loss, to replace my old history of failure at it.

I hadn't even thought of importing strategies and tools from OTHER areas of my life in which I have had success... how interesting.

Hmmm... as I thought briefly on it, I realized that I DID have areas that I excelled in. I am going to think on this, and come up with some principles that helped me succeed in those other areas, and see if I can apply them to THIS area of wt loss.
Thank you, this is fascinating.

Great post! I have been in super-empowered states in the past and achieved a lot. I forget about that when I get discouraged about my weight.
